Despite the fact that these K800s and K790s are old hat and James Bond should be using top-of-the-line gear (Q needs to read Gizmodo more!), they are pretty nice handsets and work on dual-mode UMTS (K800) and tri-band EDGE (K790). The phones will come with some wallpapers, ringtones, and themes all tying in with the new movie.

Of course, the land Her Majesty rules over already has the Sony Ericsson W850, which has 3G video chat for stealthy communications and a music identification feature, which lets you ID a song anywhere just by holding the phone up to it. Now there's a feature that will impress Pussy Galore. And we may have a bit more on the phone later today if you're good boys and girls.

<![CDATA[K790 In The Wild]]> Amateur pornographer and part-time cellphone enthusiast Bengalboy has coaxed someone into giving him a Sony Ericsson K790 to play with. We last saw this at CeBIT where it was still called the K800.

Demoted in name, but not in functionality, the K790 still features a 3.2 megapixel camera and continues to sport the "Cyber-shot" badge. Looks like SE is placing their W series as Walkman phones and their K series as the Cyber-shot photo enthusiast line.

Bengalboy has more shots including one taken with the camera on his site. Site not safe for work unless you work at Maxim Magazine.

<![CDATA[CeBIT '06: Sony Ericsson K800]]> The K800 is a 3.2-megapixel Cybershot phone that has a Best Picture feature which takes 9 pictures in a second—four pictures before you press the button, one main picture, and four pictures after you click. You then pick out the "best" picture in this mess and save that one. Interesting.
