If something like 80% of the people who have HD setup in their homes can't tell the difference between HD and standard definition, then I don't really see the need to upgrade my huge-ass DVD collection to Blue Ray. Honestly, I don't even own an HD TV. I mean I want to, but that's a lot of money for something I may not even notice. TV+Service+new blue rays+HDMI Cables= MONEY I DON'T HAVE.
@MA35TRO: I watch movies through my computer on a TV made in 1996. I watch the movie to see the movie. Until they can come up with a tech that can make CGI not LOOK like CGI, I'll continue to hate Hollywood.

I think the stat was 80% *can* tell the difference between HD and SD.
