I think this is the most impressive video that Man At Arms has ever done, and that’s saying a lot since they’ve recreated all the coolest weapons from TV shows and movies in real life. But there’s something ridiculous impressive about making a katana (stylized like the one from Kill Bill) the traditional old school…
You could arm your robots with boring old firearms, or you could train your robots to FIGHT WITH KATANAS. If the robot uprising happens, at least we'll be able to admire their precise swordplay ballet before they run us through.
I'm still holding out hope for light sabers in the future but with our world's technological limitations and silly allocation of resources, the most beautiful deadly sword-type weapon we can create without lasers might be this mashup of a lightsaber and katana made by Man At Arms: Reforged.
Devon Aoki will join season 3 of Arrow as the sword-wielding superheroine Katana. Deadline says the Sin City star "will be one of Oliver's mentors in the [Hong Kong] flashbacks and a critical influence on his journey to eventually become The Arrow of present day."
This is going to be a great year for comic book movies — but it's also shaping up to be a fantastic year for comics as well. There are tons of inventive, strange and just plain thrilling comics coming out in 2013. Including a Sandman prequel, a new DC Universe mega-event, Greg Rucka creating a brand new heroine, and a…
Unlike Tom from MySpace, Mark Zuckerberg is not your friend. But fuck it. Think about all the time you've spent on Facebook—for free! You should get him something nice.
As revealed in that leaked Sprint roadmap from last month, Sanyo's Katana Eclipse and the RAZR VE20 become real phones today. The Eclipse is replacing the DLX, and it's headline
gimmick feature is that the sides light up, rave style. And the VE20 is an, um, RAZR, but slightly less loathsome than usual.
The pirate over at Kotaku has just discovered what he's calling the "Best Damn Swag on the Planet," and we're calling "the best stylus ever." It's a stylus for Ninja Gaiden DS, but it's not just any stylus, it's a friggin sword. It even has a little sheath to stick it into! Can you imagine playing Pokemon with that…
Choose your Katana: You can have the deuce, the Katana II, called "affordable" due to its VGA camera and lack of EVDO, and the fact that it's $50 after a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate. Then there's the DLX, "ultra-packed" with 1.3-megapixel cam and 3G features including Sprint TV, Sprint Music and the new…
It's been a month since our last entry in PlayStation 3 Melee Watch, but this most recent instance involves Katanas. Apparently, some home invasionist came knocking on a door in search of a PlayStation 3 (Blu-ray fanatic?), but met with Damien Fernandez and his Katana.
We got this blurry phone pic from a reader that claims it's the sequel to the Katana phone offered by Sanyo on Sprint. Tentatively titled the "Katana 2", the phone will still be on Sprint, but curiously, has a Samsung badge on the inside. The reader couldn't explain why, and neither can we. Strange indeed.
The Sanyo Katana, Sprint's version of the RAZR, turns out to be a pretty good alternative with some decent features. The Katana looks just like a RAZR, down to the VGA camera. It's available in black, blue and pink, and has a 320x240 screen (larger than the RAZR's 176x220).
Why settle for a two-buck razor (RAZR) when you can have a Katana! Sanyo's 6600 Katana is heading for sprint, and some new pictures have just surfaced of the thin flip phone.
