LG Shine Goes Candybar, Probably Still Meh
If our hands-on with the LG Shine slider was any indication, this Shine Bar may be a phone only fashionistas will pine for. The KE770 is only 9.9mm thick (compared with the 14mm of the regular shine) and has a 320x240 display, a 2-megapixel camera with auto-focus, Bluetooth, 50MB internal storage, microSD slot, and pretty much the same styling we've come to expect from the Shine label. LG Prada Free With Contract In Europe, Available Now
The LG Prada is out in Europe and, beyond being a good excuse to post a Laura Ocaña photo once again, the news is that it's free. More »LG KS20: Pradaless, Prada Update?
This is the KS20, a rumored update to the LG KE850, or Prada phone, as known by many. It will have the Prada brand name dropped. It is pretty similar to the KE850, but with a little more beef. It is said to run off Windows Mobile 6 Pro and includes 128MB of memory, a 2.8-inch touchscreen, GRPS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA support, 2.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TV-out, FM radio and microSD support. Not bad, and maybe because it lacks the Prada brand name the price tag will be a bit better. Check out all of our other Prada-related coverage here. More »

Laura Ocaña Spells iPhone's Doom, Prefers Prada Boots to LG Prada
Yes, I know what you are asking: who is Laura Ocaña when she's not at home? To start with, she's the unofficial Miss Gizmodo Spain and Eternal-Goddess-at-large. But most importantly, she is a normal, non-geeky consumer and one of the few who has spent a few days actually using the LG Prada constantly. I talked with her for an hour, and as well as being funny, smart and charming, she uncovered a few new things about the LG Prada and something about touchscreens that Steve Jobs should take notes on. All, with a load of unpublished photos, in the interview right after the jump. More »

LG Prada Is No iPhone But It's A Must - Or So They Say
While being held by Laura Ocaña gave it semi-divine status at the 3GSM show, apparently the LG KE850 Prada is "just a phone". Although not any phone, according to the Trusted Reviews' hands-on. It's a "stylish, sexy, well thought out, well featured phone..." but it's not an iPhone, it doesn't have smartphone capabilities and there's no QWERTY screen keyboard. Plenty more, including its - surprisingly low - price and more pics, after the jump. More »

LG's Prada Phone Soon Out, Could Be Your iPhone Placeholder Til June
Maybe this is their way of sticking it to Apple, but LG today officially announced its new Prada phone, also know as the KE850. Aside from the fact that it's black and has a touchscreen, the similarities with the iPhone are minimal...not really. The LG has a 3-inch 400 x 240 screen to the iPhone's 3.5-inch 480 x 320 screen. Unlike the iPhone, LG's phone lacks built-in storage, instead you'll have to rely on microSD cards. There's also no word of its wifi capabilities, if it has any. Still, it looks nicer than many of the other fashion phones we've seen before and the interface, though perhaps slow, ain't bad either. Where it does have the advantage is availability. It's due out next month in Europe, whereas the iPhone still has a ways to go. More »Tracking the iPhone's DNA: Who's its Touchscreen's Daddy?
myiPhone.com and macrumors are thinking the same thing: Maybe the iPhone's touch tech is licensed from Synaptics, and therefore the same tech demoed in the Onyx concept phone and the touchscreen-tastic LG KE850 above. Family? Maybe. Extensive videos attemping to prove so are worth watching over at myiPhone.com, and I think Macrumors.com has a point when they say that the competition is probably eager to get their hands on the Synaptics tech to help em compete with the Jesus Phone. First Pictures of the LG Prada Phone
Sure, we've heard that LG is teaming with apparel manufacturer, Prada, for a phone and we have also heard about the LG KE850 touchscreen phone, but who would have thunk these stories would be related? The LG Prada phone that we first told you about last week is actually a rebranded KE850 with a unique Prada interface. This phone will be hitting five European countries this spring, and hopefully be making its way stateside later in the year. Early reports are also suggesting a price tag in the $400 to $500 range. Jump to see a picture of the awfully pretty Prada interface. Images via Dial-a-phone. More »

LG KE850 Sports a Touchscreen Interface
The actual specs of the upcoming LG KE850 haven't been revealed yet, so we'll just have to make do with these screens and then wildly speculate. The KE850 appears to be completely based on a touchscreen interface, with send, end and confirm being the only "real" buttons. There's speculation that it might end up being a member of the Chocolate line of cellphones given its shape and color. So, those pics? More »

First Photos of LG KE260: Looks Kinda Strange
What do you know, a non PS3-related story. What it is is the first photos of the upcoming LG KE260, a slider cellphone that functions on GSM networks. As you can see, it has a different look to it than most other cellphones and college students might recognize the shape as resembling a "clicker." As is often the case, little is known about the cellphone's actual features, how much it'll cost, where it'll come out, etc., so take this opportunity to get familiar with the cellphone's smooth curves and contours. For more of that, jump for joy. More »

LG KE820 Placates Europen Market With Shiny Black Label Aesthetics
Looking remarkably similar to the earlier announced LG KB6100, the LG KE820. (They look the same because they are, the difference being that the Korean version is able to tune into DMB TV broadcasts. But this one is slightly "speed bumped," to put in into Apple parlance.) Billed as the successor to the KG320, the new guy has a similar form factor (only 9.9mm thick) but improves the feature set. Rather than a 1.3-megapixel camera, the KE630 sports a 2.0-megapixel camera but still moves along with only 128MB of internal memory. Of course, microSD makes that pretty irrelevant. There's another pic after the jump to tickle your fancy.More »
