    Now would that have been a better comment? Why not display my dislike of this guy's tone in the article it's wacky gadget blog after all - as stated above lol i'll stand up for what i think is right. I just don't think crackin' jokes at developmentally disabled people is funny, so what? They have hard enough lives already. Orly you make fun of "retarded" people, and the people who stick up for them your just a dork that called a "retard" in school and just have to puff you chest out and make fun of folks. Relax lol. I really do love all the replies though made me laugh.

    This is unacceptable. I don't care about the use of the word retarded as it's just a word, but flat out making fun of retarded people? Are you THAT insensitive?


    I can take commenters calling each other retarded, and making jokes around the word. You went beyond that, and made fun of the people themselves.


    I read the article, actually thinking that it was related to Down Syndrome (if you look at my avatar, that's what a person with DS looks like, that's my son). This was the last straw.

    @Alex7575: I'm sorry you were offended by the topic and some of the posts. It's difficult sometimes when comedy hits too close to home. Having lost friends to both cancer and AIDs, I know that humor involving those topics has lost it's appeal to me. And I've also learned that sometimes laughing at life's challenges helps ease the pain.

    I actually work in the health care field around the mentally ill and developmentally disabled... and Mr. Frucci you lack of understanding exactly HOW hard it is to diagnose someone who cannot communicate there feelings and symptoms to you is sad. I'm not necessarily offended by your ignorance but I am sure someone will be. This is actually a very helpful tool for people who HAVE to treat these people. douche bag.
