Well, maybe DVD's, but elections were designated for Tuesdays because in the colonial period, everyone from Rural areas would travel to larger towns and cities over the weekend to prepare for Monday marked (when they would work, so elections couldn't be then), but Tuesday was normally designated as a travel-back-home day, and it was a free time when EVERYONE would be in a centralized place, making it possible to conduct elections. Now we're better developed and can have polling places everywhere, and having it on Tuesday is now just a hindrance that
