    Hm. 512hp, but 1.2 seconds slower than a Tesla, and I'll wager for a lot more money. Thanks, I'll take the Tesla.

    @MikeK: The Tesla is also the size of its design cousin, the Elise, so it has lighter weight on its side.

    The windows on that thing are making me think this is a cardboard mock-up. I doubt the doors even open. The performance: Doubtful.

    @Kaiser-Machead: But to tone down the negativity somewhat, I think it's great that more and more companies are trying to squeeze hotness into the green crowd, where the frumpy Prius, Insight and some Ford Escape hybrids currently roam. With stuff like this and Tesla and perhaps some others in the near future, at least green cars won't look like blah-o-matics.

    @m4ximusprim3: I'm going to have to counter that by saying that I just don't see any appeal in people who would care what I drive. If the girl won't step foot into an old ass VW, I wouldn't want her sitting in my Koenigsegg either.

    I'm glad to finally see an electric with some performance in it. On a side note, I actually had a Prius owner try to race my Mustang the other day on the 405. I almost peed myself from laughing so hard cause I could tell he was serious. LOL *wipes tear*


    Anyways, back to subject...I would totally get on board with the electric idea if performance (although obviously not as much as this car) leaked down into more civilian-affordable models.
