    Now the headset has Motorola branding on it, but there is no mention of a real partnership as far as we can see.

    Motorola didn't make this. Kopin may just be trying to shop the idea to Motorola. Who knows?

    Imagine your 20-inch desktop monitor with pixels only a fraction the size of a human hair. The resolution would be mindblowing. Instead of 1600 by 1200, it could be 16k by 12k. No more anti-aliasing necessary.

    Contrast Ratios for monitors are going to go up

    Displays for phones can now have 1080P resolution


    and probibly lots of other things I haven't thought of

    @Philip Gilbert: Why would you need 1080P for a phone? Numerous studies have already shown that the human eye is not capable of discerning the difference between 720P and 1080P on anything smaller than 48" unless you sit within a couple of feet of the tv.
