Medicom will release 3000 of these toys on December 5, package them with a copy of the CD and sell it for 5250 Yen ($48), presumably in Japan. The Bearbricks also come housed in a pyramid, not unlike the one Daft Punk used for their epic live shows. The set as a whole looks pretty sweet, but I think I like the earlier Daft Punk/Medicom collaborations better...and now I sound like an obsessive DP fanboy. [Medicom via ToysREvil]

<![CDATA[Star Wars Kubrick Toys Take It Back To The Origins of Star Wars]]> I love these Star Wars Kubricks because I have a soft spot for cult toy makers that work with big franchises. The characters for this series were taken from Episodes I-III, and feature the likes of Qui-Gon Jinn, naked C-3PO, and Anakin Skywalker before he grew a rat tail and allowed his hormonally raging manhood to overtake his Jedi state of mind. These are expected to come out in March of 2008 for about $96. [Instinctoy via Toys R Evil]

<![CDATA[Metal Gear Solid Kubrick Figures Make Us Go !]]> Seen at this year's Comic-Con, these Metal Gear Solid Kubrick figures are probably the best things we've seen yet in LEGO-ish form. The Kubrick block figures will have Snake and Grey Fox from #1, Naked Snake from #3, and Old Snake and Robot Ninja Raiden from #4. La Li Lu Le Lo. [Figures via Toys R Evil via HypeBeast]
