Seems like a lot of work just to incorporate your iPhone into a little laser action with your dog. Wouldn't it be easier to just get a cheapo laser and play with your dog with that in one hand, while you use your iPhone to amuse yourself in the other?

So, if I release an iPhone app that gives instructions on how to toss your device at an intruder, and call the app 'iRock', will I get a positive or negative review on Giz? Just curious.

I used a laser pointer on my cat and after a couple of minutes he gave me a look, as if to say "I am so ripping out your eyeballs tonight". I didn't do it again.

I use to have a corgi and he would get all excited when we would let him chase a laser. Then he would follow that excitement by always crapping on the floor. every single time. so weird.

Our puppy loved to chase the lasers around the house and backyard, then a trailer hitch landed on his foot one day. After healing up from that, he still chased the laser, but the doc said it wasn't good for him. I was heart broken. This is a good idea, and should be installed in those premium dog kennels. We can already see our pet on their webcam, now just put a laser in there and we can play with them while on vacation!

@EBone: LOL no, it fell out the back of our truck while we were unloading stuff. Poor little guy passed away a couple months back though, then his brother a few months later. I'm a sad panda.

@Kev50027: So sorry for your loss. I had to make the hard decision back in June with my 13-year old Shepherd mix. I always try and think of it this way - While it's sad our furry family members don't live as long as we do, it gives us the chance to love more of them during our lifetimes.

@SchruteBuck: Don't get your blouse in a bunch their precious. If it makes you feel any better, the majority of the dead kittens were Calicos. Not just any Calicos though, the freaky ones with different colored eyes.
