Black and white are neutral shades, not colors. Only the reds, purples, and blues on thinkpads qualify as colors.
A thinkpad running AMD, and particularly a thinkpad with that nasty excuse for a keyboard leave me less than enthused. Couldn't they have kept the awesome keyboard?
Of all the things they could've screwed up, why'd they fuck with the KEYBOARD?
I do believe I see my top choice over all netbooks in existence. A lot of people don't like the nub, but I think it's perfect for something like a netbook, where the trackpads are usually small and sucky as hell compared to regular full-size laptops.
I've mentioned my affinity for the Thinkpad aesthetic before but I think it bears repeating that I find them to be industrially lovely.
That's a mighty big forehead that thing has over the display. For that much empty space it should have two webcams for 3D strip teases. #qualcommsnapdragonsmartbook
@jrghoull: Yeah, but it's also symmetrical with the other end with the home button. Just the same, the extra head does house the audio, proximity and ambient light sensors. With most of a laptop's hardware housed under the keyboard rather than the display housing, as well as the lower bezel having such a low profile, it just looks odd here.
@Kaiser-Machead: Sometimes PC manufactuers do something a little bit differently, it seems odd (though not impossible) for them to have added that 'forehead' for asetics reasons alone...so perhaps it will serve some sort of useful/semi useful function #qualcommsnapdragonsmartbook
These kinds of all-in-ones totally suck to work on, I dont have 4 hours to tear apart a frickin computer... Gimme a DELL tower and I'll be done in 10-30min. Plus DELL gives me overnight parts. #lenovoa70z
You know what? The A70z would be perfect for people like my parents who don't need an open upgrade path and are operating on a serious budget. Even though it's a business line computer I'd probably hook them up with one as a gift. #lenovoa70z
I do think that Microsoft needs that much needed storefront. For selling softwares and their hardware in a more interesting way than a confusing corporate site.
Kudos Microsoft, that's a step in the good direction. #microsoftstore
It has come to my attention that Apple has not went under the scope of anti-trust cop and quite frankly, it scares me shitless. The only "legal" way to have OSX system is to have an Apple machine, Apple frowns upon Hackintosh and would rather see you guys run amock with their pricy hardware.
What boggles my mind is the fact that we keep on slamming Microsoft for having exclusivity WHILE Apple is just doing fine obligating their user to use their stuff and only their stuff...
But that can be explained. 10% of the current market share is belonging to Apple (Source: [www.tuaw.com]) and it does not botter the feds, which always hunt for the bigger game.
If there is anything, Microsoft Store to only contain Microsoft products would be legitimate, but would also be a a nice way to screw their business partners.
I completely agree that Apple should be under Anti-trust investigation. They are the kings of hardware bundling and software bundling.
I am in fact in support of this new scheme. By Microsoft having a huge front banner comparing the best Windows machines means companies will have to strive to make better machines for lower prices.
The winner in this scenario is definitely the consumer. Microsoft promoting more market competition is definitely a good thing! #microsoftstore
Anything launched with a trebuchet instantly becomes awesome. You want proof? Think about Nickelback. Normally they are weak. In the extreme. Launch them across a field with a trebuchet and BOOM! Awesome get.
I'm sad that my tablet wouldn't survive a trebucheting but am happy to know it obtained awesomeness. #laptops

X100E leak: 11" frame, trackpoint, trackpad.... + colors + chiclet keyboard.
fake... though I will admit it looks like a nice mid-level netbook competitor if it comes in at under $500 compared to the rest of the crap out there.

I only read 320GB HDD max, not 500GB. But who's nitpicking, I'm just glad to see it comes with the Trackpoint StylePointer mouse.
