    I don't understand the point of this at all. As soon as your TV is less than, say, an inch or so thick...why does it make any difference if you shave of a few more fractions of an inch? It's thin enough to hang like a picture frame at about an inch, maybe even more. Anything beyond that is just manufacturers stroking their ego.
