We showed you what the phone looked like with our spy shots, but the above image is a closer (non-blurry) look at the phone before you buy it. To refresh, it's got a 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.0. [AT&T]

<![CDATA[AT&T LG Shine Spy Shots]]> Our tipster didn't give us many details on this, but apparently the LG Shine—previously seen in flip-version on Verizon—is heading to AT&T. No real details here other than it's coming (including whether it's this black finish), but check out our previous Shine coverage to see if you're interested.

<![CDATA[LG Shine Gets All Moody & Sexy]]> LG are set to add to their ever-popular Black Label Series by releasing the LG Shine in a new, sulky Titanium Black finish. To save any confusion at the checkout they're releasing this model as the 'LG Shine Titanium Black.'

The feature set remains unchanged from the original and it is planned for release at the end of July 2007. Initially it will be made available within the UK, France, Netherlands and Austria (no stateside plans yet).

The Shine used to prance about like Paris Hilton, driving too fast and pissed with the ramifications. The new makeover, however, wouldn't batter an eyelash at a stretch inside; instead it would take down the system and look suave doing it. [Product Page Via MobileMentalism]

<![CDATA[My 24 Hours with the LG Shine: Shiny and Sucky]]> I apologize for all the buzz on the mirror-faced LG Shine over the last few months. Across the Internet, it looked good. At CES, when I touched it, it looked good. I have a LG Shine here, and after spending a day with it, I've decided that it really is gorgeous (see the pics). And that it sucks. Let me name the ways.

Screen: Sucks. it's a mirrored screen. Unless in total dark, what you have is goddamn glare.

Slide: There are two places to put your finger when you slide this phone up. On the rolling knob, which your thumb will undoubtedly slip on. Or the mirrored finish. Your call, slip or smudge.

Battery Life:
Sucks. It must take a lot of battery to blast light through that one-way tinted mirror top.

Case:
Nice. What? You thought I was going to just bash the Shine the whole post? The case is gorgeous, but the phone isn't as small as I'd like.

Music playback:
Great. The UI for playback includes a EQ, and the built-in speakers are great, too. The otherwise annoying roll-bar is great for getting through long lists of songs. Good job, LG.

But there's more bad.

Keypad:
Just like a RAZRs. They're almost asking to be sued.

UI:
Mixed. On the main screen, nothing is labeled well. The main menu's screens work like a charm, though.

Browser:
Sucks. Doesn't render anything well.

Extras:
It can read PowerPoint files, and I'm assuming XLS and DOC files, too. Whoop de Do.

Camera:
It's freaking good. Ain't no Carl Zeiss in a Nokia, but it's not bad at all. There's a strong LED flash and the 2MP shooter even has white balance, and autofocus.

It's not so much that it sucks as that it is an expensive but mediocre phone. Which means you should pass if you care about handsets. The software and functionality are just "ok" while being packed in a shell that looks glorious.

So, don't sweat the fact that this phone isn't Stateside. You're not missing anything. Just take your average high-end phone and slap a makeup mirror onto its top. There you go. Shiny cellphone.

<![CDATA[LG Already Updates Shine: Looks The Same, But Adds HSDPA and VGA Camera]]> LG is already hard at work making the next version of the , the KU970. While the exterior will remain as Shiney as ever, LG adds 3G HSDPA and a VGA camera. LG has also bumped the internal storage capacity to 512MB. Other than that, it's the same Shine that we still don't have here. At this point, I'd rather LG just skip over the Shine and send us some Prada love. I hear the devil wears that nowadays.

<![CDATA[David Blaine Pretends To Like LG Shine For Big Sacks of Money]]> David Blaine will whore himself out for the LG Shine as its official spokesman. He's even going to mingle with the common people of London (groundlings, I think they're called) at a performance at Cirque on Feb. 7 to celebrate its British launch.

Say what you will about Blaine's antics (that, among other things, they're just silly), but the lending of his image to the Shine represents a milestone for humanity. I mean, we all know that the Shine turns into a mirror-thing at the push of a button. Blaine, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't. Maybe that's his next trick?

<![CDATA[LG Shine Makes its Video Debut]]>
The girls at Shiny Shiny are still pink in the face after a quick rendezvous with LG's sexy, silvery Shine. Despite the phone's smudge-able looks, they found the Shine to be pretty resistant to fingerprints and scratches. The phone's spinning scroll wheel, located on its midriff, is also intuitive despite suffering from a bit of lag. Among the few things they didn't like were the phone's buttons, which they felt coulda been spaced out better. Otherwise, the Shine is building quite a Cassanova-like rep in the world of mobiles.

<![CDATA[Gizmodo Gallery: Hands-On with the LG Shine]]> We just got a chance to get our greasy thumbprints all over the sexy new LG Shine, and as you can see by the photos, it's gorgeous. Extremely thin and light yet solid feeling, it feels great in the hand and doesn't suffer from the cheap-feeling issues that plagues other stylish phones like the RAZR. Sadly, this guy is staying in Korea, with LG keeping mum on any plans they might have to float it over to our shores. Get with the program, LG. This thing would be huge if they sold it here.
