First Man In Line for Palm Pre Shows Commitment, Mild Insanity

Given the possible shortage of Pres at launch, we expected to see a little bit of camping out in line. We just didn't expect it so early—the Pre doesn't debut until Saturday, which means this guy's got an awful lot of time on his hands. [TinyComb, thanks Tess!]

Question of the Day: How Long are You Willing to Wait in Line For Black Friday Deals?

Based on an earlier poll, we already know that plenty of you will be heading out to shop on Black Friday. Major polls listed in our Black Friday survival guide indicate that the number of people heading out overall could be higher than in previous years. That having been said, I'm curious to know about what people are willing to endure to get the deal they really want. So, my question is: how long are you willing to wait in line for Black Friday deals?

Those New Zealand jerks may have gotten their iPhone 3Gs already, but everyone else around the world is still waiting in line, sweaty and hungry for their new devices. If they're anything like our friends in Gizmodo Japan, they're quite enjoying the experience. We want to know about it. • Line cutters pissing off everybody, fights erupt
