Stephen Fry should take a lesson from Chen. In spite of having difficulty with the hardware, Chen did not throw a Twitterhissy. Instead, he incorporated them into a full coherent review using a minimum of profanity.

I wouldn't call it "partially-assed" so much as just overambitious. The game works with what it gets, and that's a single-track mp3 with no coorelating metadata, possibly aside from lyrics it has no indication on how to display in correct timing. Not sure how else a game could do what people are evidently expecting.

@The BCS Dartboard Mount Intern: Well, there's an app, TuneWiki for Android and iPhone, that syncs lyrics with the song. Easy peasy. If they can do it, these people can do it.

Jason, what size is your Vizio? The angle of the picture is throwing off my usually acute sense of size.

I think this is an interesting review because you usually don't see just the hardware of a game put under the microscope. Also, it sounds like Lips' scoring is just plain broken, which begs the question: can you turn it off? I don't know why it would even bother trying to score you on music you've imported.
