Aparently, I live on the other side of the street. My girlfriend will be mad. Naked ladies here. Downgrading FF.

It might work for users at home. But for many corporate users that use one external IP address, their IP may be located in the city of their data center.

I have no dot currently. But oh, I'll be checking. update - I can't be determined. I wonder if that's because I'm on a corporate network?

It gave me a "Your location could not be determined." How saddening.

testing it now from my friend's house it gives me a zoom level of 50km and the center of the map is around 50km away from my real position, so quite bad...
but i tried once the geode beta as firefox plugin, and it was just awesome. hit around 5 meters beside my house. so i dont understand why it is so bad now... perhaps they dont want to be that accurate, using the geode beta i could select what to give: exact location, street, district, city, region.

I just tried it at work on our guest network and it was within 20 feet. That's a little too accurate for my liking w/o GPS

It worked perfect for me, it put me EXACTLY where I am! And I mean, 1 / 2 mts error! I'm in a small city in Argentina.

Not too bad... only 1200 mi out! It placed me in Burbank CA, while I'm actually just outside of Vancouver BC.
