    I'll be more impressed when someone comes out with a guitar hero style game that actually teaches you to play the guitar.

    @Six Demon Bag: Lite: DDR tried to teach people how to dance and we all know where that went.


    Funny enough I learned how to play drums with the Rock Band set.

    @tok3ninja; fell off the boat: Right, it can teach you to sing (somewhat) on pitch, and help you learn rhythm for drums. But when it comes to the guitar piece it falls down, goes boom, and can't get up.


    I'm not being derisive about people who play the game, I'd just rather have a fun way of making my fingers bleed ya know?

    You can buy a used fender strat a practice amp and lunch for that same price.

    @206: I knew there was going to be a comment along the lines of 'get a real guitar'.


    At a price of $200, I'm with you on this. It wouldnt be of amazing quality, but it would be great for beginners.


    Others would just say they're too lazy to dedicate a significant amount of time to learn it. Pity.

    @Save me: I hear that in some places there is a thing called "work". It sounded like an interesting concept. I think poor children have it, but I'm not entirely sure.
