Wait, what do you mean it's not miniature. It's for giants? [Ilvoelv via Hypebeast]

<![CDATA[Louis Vuitton Trunk Is a Vacation In Itself]]> Who needs clothes on vacation when you can carry two solar panels, a flatscreen TV, DVD player, two-way radio and coffee maker with you wherever you go?

This one-off was commissioned by some Chinese guy to Louis Vuitton, and is coated with Taiga leather and LV's standard brass fittings and red interior finish. Absurd, yes—but if we ever become a millionaire and go on vacation, we'd want one of these too. If some Chinese guy can make them build this, why not me? I'm some Chinese guy! <![CDATA[Takashi Murakami and Louis Vuitton Create First Designer QR Code]]> Let's face it, QR Code hasn't been very exciting. Just dots and squares. But this QR facelift, combining the designs of Louis Vuitton with Takashi Murakami, just made Kanye make a mess in his shoes.

Jean Snow says the stylized QR code works like the standard, barcode-like graphics, while Dvice adds that its the first time Murakami's work has been interactive. Created by Japanese ad firm SET, the project is mostly just to promote other work the two companies have done together. But the creativity factor can't be denied. It's pretty neat. <![CDATA[Fake Aura Slaps On Fake Louis Vuitton For Ultimate Tackiness]]> In case the Aura, Motorola's 2008 luxury phone, didn't scream nouveau-riche enough, some Chinese counterfeiters have decked their version out in a Louis Vuitton skin.

Fake LV Aura eschews its pricey inspiration's circular display for a standard square one and we're guessing its specs aren't even close to the already middling 2-megapixel camera, 2GB internal memory, 400 hour stand by time of the real Aura.

But that one's still $2000 (and you can't resell it), while this one's about $113. And if you're going to have a phone that tells people "I care about looks more than anything!" you might as well drop the illusion that you have any class at all. [shanzhaiji]

<![CDATA[Solid Gold Louis Vuitton Flash Drive Trimmed With Your Choice of Ostrich or Alligator]]> Luxe designer Louis Vuitton is designing a USB Flash drive for geeks who need a side of haute couture with their gadgets. The thumbdrive features a sexy curved body, and will be made of white or yellow gold with ostrich or alligator accents. Like the designer purses, the flash drive manages to incorporate Louis' signature lock into the design, as it requires a key to release the locked cap. I'm not sure if this provides any added security, since the key dangles from the device itself. The concept will also include either a digital or an analog clock as well. No word yet on storage capacity, availability or doubtlessly exorbitant cost. [Newlaunches]
