@Chris Hajjar: Any DD-WRT compatible router can do this. You can make multiple WLANs on one router, with different SSIDs, encryption methods, and passwords.
@pellier: Doesnt matter to me, as when I get a mac pro, ill be getting a real keyboard... A ill be getting a unicomp keyboard, the company that now has the patent for the IBM Model M (the legendary clicky keyboard).
Ill be getting a unicomp space spacesaver for my mac pro.
I already have the Customizer 101 (Original Model M with unicomp markings) for my Pentium III machine, and love it.
@Jrsy Devil's Food Cake: I give up. This damn site keeps moving my comments all over. Yes, the IR Port is there. Still in the DVD drive slot, right-hand side as always.
@Jrsy Devil's Food Cake: The real secret here, is that this is Steve Jobs leaking the video because he's just that damn bored sitting at home recovering from his body transplant.
Jobs goes away for a few months and everything falls apart. He would have personally rip the leaker's head off and crap down their necks if he were still around. What's wrong with Tim Cook? I guess people don't fear him.
@Noobs-R-Us: The leaking has gotten really bad at Apple for at least the past 6 months. Unibody Macs, new iPods, iPhone 3G details, just about every major release has been leaked on the internet - with pictures mind you - for quite some time.
Remember the boxed iPod shots and portables cases? Someone deeply involved in the supply chains, or someone high up is leaking this stuff and they can't seem to stem the tide. I'm sure much head ripping and neck crapping occurred before Jobs' leave, but it doesn't seem to have ended the leaks.
@Noobs-R-Us: Right, but I'm just saying from a physical external architecture change nothing is different. Going to all SATA isn't a crazy idea either as it actually saves MB space. SATA connectors being much smaller than IDE. Smaller cable, smaller MB space occupied.
Pretty much this looks like an evolutionary change for the mini, and nothing revolutionary. Which is really the point, the mini isn't supposed to be revolutionary. (Maybe it will have blu-ray? LOL)
Pretty much the only thing actually changed here from the current Mac Mini is the Firewire port changing to FW800, 1 additional USB port, and changing the video out from DVI to mini dvi/displayport or whatever it is the 2nd adaptor is.
@Lite: thinks they will listen to Reason (tm): It looks like mini DVI plus mini display port. The only cool part of that would be the ability to drive dual displays, and the presence of a newer GPU, like the nVidia 9400M, which can actually play some games.
If the rumors are true, and the superdrive is now on SATA, that would also make dual internal HDD mods a lot easier.
At this point, MacMini fans will take ANY kind of update. The poor guy hasn't been revved in something like 530 days.

They also added an aluminum finish around the sides instead of plastic. I don't think anyone used the word "revolutionary" to describe these changes. Regardless, adding more ports and metal is a GOOD thing.
I am guessing that there will be much bigger changes with what's going on inside the box. For example, it will most likely sport the new Nvidia 9400 graphics chipset, have a bigger HD, etc. We will probably see a drop in the price too (hopefully in the $400-500 range).
I bet that was a video of someone who was turning a mac mini in circles, and they photoshopped the ports on the back into every frame using digital editing software. Yeah!
@Lite: thinks they will listen to Reason (tm): Oh and if you watch the movie `Jaws' backwards, it's a movie about a shark that keeps throwing up people until they have to open a beach.
@Lite: thinks they will listen to Reason (tm): Either that or it's a mock up using that shiny foam board that architect students use. All you would need is an exact-o knife and some thing stuck behind the openings. Or it could be a test unit, or even possibly real-ish.
Yeah, because ports HAVE to be perfectly aligned...sure was the most "damning argument". Look at the side of your macbooks giz crew...I know you have em.
@Antonio Rivera: It's not extremely cheap, considering that it's no more powerful than their laptops, and is a desktop. But comparing to regular desktops isn't really fair either, since none of them even come close to matching this form factor.

If $599 isn't affordable then i don't know what is. The Mac Mini is extremely cheap.
