I find those numbers shocking.

But I am not married. The figures are from CEA and Best Buy respectively, and were presented at a panel at CES on Sex and Electronics and how to design gadgets for women. Their list of how to improve gadgets for women are incidentally not all that different from a list of improvements that all gadget makers need to adhere by, regardless of the stereotypical sex their marketing team is targeting in sales.

<![CDATA[The Rubbot Male Sex Gadget is in Beta, Looks Slightly Dangerous]]> The Rubbot may be on the periphery of gadgetdom, but at the same time it stands for everything we believe technology can do. Yes, it's a male sex toy that allows you to rub yourself silly without using your hands—hence, rubbot. The creators are in the beta stage (beta testers wanted!) and made this video to show just how far they have to go. After seeing what it did to that beer bottle, there's no way we're sticking our dorks into that. That's what interns are for. [Rubbot via Fleshbot]

<![CDATA[Male Chastity Belt Preferable to Eunuchizing]]> We're not sure what to say about this stainless steel male chastity belt other than the fact that we want zero part of that. There's a hole in the front for your junk to go, as well as a hole in the back for the stinkier junk to drop out, and the whole thing is locked with a key you (hopefully) never lose. How long can this be worn? "The experiences of my customers are completely different. They range from weekend use to the continuous carrier." At least it beats getting your muchachos cut off forever.
