And then she dropped this:

"The tablet planned is NOT a kindle as we know it."

The Tweet followed two other posts that also dealt with tablets ("interactive, full color" she says). They're kind of cryptic, but if she's anything like the New York Times or Conde Nast then she might be talking with a certain company or companies about magical newspaper/magazine-saving tablets too. No surprise. Here are the other two:

"Would like more comments on reading colorful magazines on a tablet reader- new improved, very interactive. will you use such a device??" AND "Serious question: how many of you will read magazines on an electronic tablet(interactive-full color) within two years? three years?"

Martha, Martha. What have you seen and when do we get instructions on how to knit handmade protective sleeves for it? [Martha Stewart - Thanks, Johnsie]

<![CDATA[Martha Stewart Discovers...The Internet?]]> Martha Stewart may have 1.5 million followers on her twitter account, but to hear her do her show, it would seem like she only discovered the internet yesterday.

We don't want to make fun of her for being old (we're all going to get old eventually), and not to make fun of her for having abnormally slurred speech (recent stroke? did she hit her head like Conan?). It's more that we find it interesting that she's talking like a grandma that just discovered email for the first time. The looks of the people around her, especially David Pogue and the guy in the still, says it all for us. [Martha - Thanks Intern Anna Edwards!]

<![CDATA[Pepper Knuckles Irritate Eyes, Crack Skulls]]> Pepper Knuckles are one of those multifunctional devices perfect for people like Martha Stewart. During the day, use them to massage meat and season your salads. At night, take them out to generously blind people and break their jaws before kicking them in the groin. They are just a concept, so don't expect them on QVC. For now, it has more possibilities of making it into a GTA IV expansion pack. [Yanko Design]

<![CDATA[Martha Stewart Loves Her MacBook Air]]> It's official: the MacBook Air is going to be a roaring success no matter what we say about it: Martha Stewart loves it, and that's it. End of the story. She loves everything about it and, according to her, it looks great on her desk. So Brian, Walter, David et al, TFSU and read her comments, along the image of the MacBook Air sitting on her desktop:

• I was amazed by how razor thin and how light it is.
• I really love the trackpad.
• The MacBook Air is truly a technological thing of beauty.
• It has a full-size illuminated keyboard, which is terrific for working in a dimly lit car or on an airplane.

Or in jail when they turn the lights off. [The Martha Blog]
