Bay also welcomes back Megan Fox, knowing that he'll have a hard time finding someone with just the right balance of slutty sexiness to woo a crowd into believing that Shia is a hero.

Michael Bay should really think about using the Red Epic or Red One to shoot Megan Fox with next time. It worked well before. [Deadline]

<![CDATA[Red Epic Used to Shoot Sexiest Woman Alive, Kate Beckinsale, at 5K Resolution]]> Megan Fox may have been sexy enough to use the 3K resolution Red Epic video camera to shoot with, but the sexiest woman alive needs 5K. Kate Beckinsale is an extra 2K sexier than Megan Fox.

It's technologically interesting since, with both the 3K and the 5K Red cameras, they're able to take video and strategically take out frames to use as stills. This makes it a lot easier on the photographer since he doesn't need to know, intuitively, when the best few seconds are to snap a stream of shots—he can just point the thing and tell Kate to be sexy.

It's too bad for Kate though, because in order to crown a new Sexiest Woman Alive next year, Esquire will have to have her put down. [Esquire]

<![CDATA[How They Created a Hotter Megan Fox In Transformers 2]]> The image associated with this post is best viewed using a browser.I really thought this "Transformers 2: CGI Megan Fox Even Hotter This Time" behind-the-scenes footage was a joke by those guys at LandlineTV. Apparently, I was very wrong:

The image associated with this post is best viewed using a browser.Apparently she really needed some CGI retouching. (Please, somebody please tell me this is not real.)

<![CDATA[The Fallen, Of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Fame, Revealed In Full]]> From the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen we've seen the new Devastator robot, Megan Fox disrobing, and various trailers. But what about, you know, the Fallen? Well, this image is him.

Admittedly, this is not as cool as a trailer. And it certainly doesn't elicit the tingling sensation Megan Fox gives you when she fixes an engine or graces the cover of Esquire.

But it's apparently a first look, procured by MTV to promote this evening's MTV Movie Awards, and the thing looks legitimately bad ass (is that an Egyptian style headdress going on up in there?).

And it looks slightly different too, right? Shia LeBeouf explains:

Basically, the Fallen is to them what cavemen, Neanderthals were to us. He's the ancestor, the first version of this exoskeleton. He's the first version of this sentient being. That's what he is. He's the origins of what they came from.

He also says the Megatron answers to the fallen thanks to a sort of "Emperor and Darth Vader ... kind of situation."

So long as we're talking Emperor-Vader from the Return of the Jedi, and not that "Noooo!!!" abomination at the end of Revenge of the Sith, that sounds cool enough. [MTV via Film School Rejects]

<![CDATA[The First Foxy Magazine Cover to Be Shot In Video]]> Last week we told you that Esquire had shot their June magazine cover in video. This week, we see that Megan Fox photo in all its...wait, there is no way "Fox" is her real name.

Captured on the 4K RedOne (that's a frame resolution of 4096x2304, or 9.4 megapixels), the video-sourced cover image is thought to be a first in the magazine industry, challenging traditional SLR photography and the distinctions of photo vs video.

In other good news, there's a pile of leftover Megan Fox footage that's up at Esquire now. But in one of humanity's great travesties, the clips have been downrezzed for web streaming. [Esquire]

<![CDATA[Megan Fox Esquire Cover Shot In Video, Not Stills]]> If the fusion of video cameras and dSLRs hadn't blurred enough before, Esquire shot their June issue cover of Megan Fox in video—a purported first in the magazine world.

Rather than click and endless series of stills, photographer Greg Williams shot the cover with the 4K Red ONE video camera. Fox essentially acted out a scene for 10 minutes, the best moment of which will appear on the June 2009 cover. (Not to be wasteful of Megan Fox footage, the video will also be uploaded to Esquire's site, of course.)

It's fascinating that as digital cameras evolve, so will the roles of photographers, models and publications. I can't see traditional photography ever dying, but whether photos will always be captured in photographs is another question. [Esquire]

<![CDATA[New Transformers 2 Footage: An Angsty Autobot and Megan Fox Shamelessly Disrobing]]> Here you go, a new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video. It's about a minute of stuff blowing up, a minute of Bumblebee whining, and 30 seconds of Megan Fox.

The video was originally shown by Michael Bay after his acceptance of the Vanguard Award at ShoWest, but now it's online for all to see. You can check it out in HD. [The Clip In HD via Crunchgear]

<![CDATA[Megan Fox Gets Ready for Transformers Debut By Lounging Around in Her Underwear]]>
Try as we might to refrain from posting shots of Transformers co-star Megan Fox again, it was just too much. I mean, part of her little ass canyon is showing in one of these. Plus, we have the blessing of those generous souls at FHM, fine purveyors of pics featuring the female form. Transformers? To hell with all those pictures of silly robot toys. Transform this. On to the gallery! And after that, a thinly veiled attempt to justify posting babe shots.

So what makes this young filly tick? This oughta give you some insight:

"Once, my ex and I were bored and driving through Beverly Hills," she told FHM. "We thought it was bullshit that all these spoiled people had other people taking out their trash, so we were plowing down the street, knocking over trash cans. I hit one that was full of giant tree branches and it left a huge dent."

We don't get it. Is that scenario part of the Transformers movie?
