With an adjustable volume range of 5 to 10 Watts however, it's almost completely useless. Kids are yelly; when I was young, I'm pretty sure I'd hit 10 Watts in a normal conversation. You know what would be more effective? Holding up a paddle. That always got me to listen right quick. [Nerd Approved]

<![CDATA[MegaPhone Allows iPhone Note Editing on Your Computer]]> Ho! Finally an app that makes the Notes software on your iPhone about 100% more useful. MegaPhone, which was iPhoneDrive, lets you view and edit your iPhone-created notes directly on your Mac. You can even switch fonts from the default Marker Felt to another of the built-in iPhone fonts (Helvetica, Arial) on a note by note basis. What this means to you is that shopping lists, to-do lists, and other text-heavy apps can move easily to and from your iPhone. [ECamm via TUAW]

<![CDATA[Megaphone, Cellphone Gaming is Social]]> Without downloading any extra software or performing special networking, one design student came up with a viable social gaming concept for cellphones. A large screen projects a game in which people can join at any time by calling a number just above the screen. Then, using the standard touchpad (through key tones), users can control their avatar (assigned through caller ID'd phone number). It's an absolutely brilliant idea that could make cellphone gaming not only a whole lot more fun, but a whole lot easier to get some digits, if you know what I'm saying (and if you don't, I'm alluding to the potential for future sexual intercourse as a direct result to partaking in a social interaction).
