The final piece of the puzzle we’ve been waiting to see from the new Power Rangers movie is the Ranger’s gigantic combining mech, the Megazord. And although many fans were expecting to see something very different to the Megazord from the show, I think this defies a lot of expectations of just how different it is.
Hell yes! The original Mighty Morphin' Megazord is back as a toy. This is everything you ever wanted 18 years ago and also probably right now, now that you remembered it.
I have a terrible confession to make - I watched Power Rangers for a long, long time, well past the age when I knew better. Why couldn't I quit this obviously terrible show? The toys were just too damn cool.
Built in 1978 by German steel company Krupp, this giant trencher "Bagger 288" was designed for open mining trenching. Sure, its real functionality is absolutely not interesting at all, but that giant saw will give the Megazord a run for his money when I go crazy and destroy the Power Rangers once and for all!
