Still, for Disney fans, this is a pretty interesting setup. Not only does the Mickey Mouse shape provide a clean mount for your TV, it also incorporates ample storage for your media, a drawer for your miscellanea and a glass shelf for your home theater equipment. I'm sure kids would love it. [Pacini Cappellini via Trendir]

<![CDATA[Mickey Mouse Autobot is More Than Meets the Eye]]> I love Transformers and I love Disney, but it never occurred to me that they'd go together. Luckily for us, Japanese toy makers are much better than I at coming up with cross-promotional products.

With the Mickey Mouse Transformer, everybody's favorite rodent goes from sitting in a semi to perched on top of a giant Mickey-bot. Adorable! It'll be available for sale in February for roughly $40 from 1999. [Dvice]

<![CDATA[iRiver Brings Mickey MP3 Player to the US; May Cause Cancer]]> The Mickey MP3 player that we've shown you when it was only available in Korea, and again when it was gold-plated, is finally making its way to the US today, with one slight caveat: "This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm." That's right, the same Mickey Mouse you loved in childhood could be adding extra limbs on your own children. Then again, it's only $70, stores 1GB, and has 9 hours of playback time, so, pick your battles. [product page]

<![CDATA[Friends, Kids, Geeks, A-Data's Mickey Mouse 2GB Drive Lends You His Ear]]> The worst thing about this official A-Data Mickey Mouse USB flash drive is that I can think of about five adults I know who'd love one. The modular design conceals the mini 2GB drive as one of Mickey's ears, the other ear being pierced for pendants or charms. The clear plastic centre even pops out so you can slide in a photo of your loved one. We don't know when these 1.5-inch wide Megabyte Mickeys will be available, or how much they'll cost. But we do know your trinket obsessed, computer-savvy young daughter will want one. [EverythingUSB]

<![CDATA[Buffalo's Kid-Friendly USB Memory Sticks Stop Your Little Treasures Getting their Hands on your Porn Files]]> This is a smart idea from Buffalo: USB memory sticks that your kids can stick in your computer without causing wanton destruction to the files inside — or your reputation when they inadvertently download your skinflicks onto a memory stick and present Belladonna's tattoos to their nonplussed classmates. Gallery and more info below.

BFG_PKID_001b.JPGAvailable in four designs (Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Doraemon and — aargh! — Tamagotchi, the sticks contain a secure internet browser (Yahoo! Kids), a couple of games, and you can even limit the amount of time your little darlings spend attached to their computer. My suggestion? Buy them an OLPC and keep them well away from your notebook. <![CDATA[iRiver Mickey Mouse MP3 Player $50, Still Chunky]]> No, this isn't Steampunk Willie. The 2007 Software Exhibition of Korea kicked off today, and iRiver showcased a few new concept images for its upcoming MP3 player collaboration with Disney. The player is slated to be a plump but minuscule 3cm tall (a 1:1 ratio model of the real Mickey, perhaps?), hold 1GB of music, and sell for a projected $50. Of course, when looking at the designs one question still remains: What about those ears, do they swivel?

Mickey-Mouse-Player-2.jpg
They do. All of the previous speculation stands for the moment: The ears act as knobs, controlling volume and track selection, the player will be available in a variety of colors, and it might not come to the States.

Disney commissioned iRiver to make the player for their Hong Kong amusement park and for retail in South Korea, though if sales go well enough iRiver hinted that Mickey might sneak into other regions. But given the size and relatively unimpressive specs compared to other players on the market, there's a good chance this thing will remain a Hong Kong Disney keepsake.

<![CDATA[iRiver Mplayer: How Mickey Got His Groove Back]]> A new Mickey shaped music product is in the works, and unlike this crazy speaker set, Disney actually appears to be involved, along with iRiver. Molded after Mickey's bulbous likeness (and Minnie's, of course), the screenless flash player is due to hit Asia soon.

The ears, mind you, are not just for show. Flick one to or fro to adjust volume; do the same on the other to change tracks.

Given the size of the jack at the top of Mickey's head—and the picture above—it looks like the player may be pretty small. What we don't know is whether or not the product will turn up in the US. If it does, it's not necessarily a home run: that chunky body could be uncomfortable in your pocket, and what happens if the ears are constantly wiggling? Could be annoying as hell.

<![CDATA[Mickey Mouse-Themed iPod Nano on Sale in Japan: Dumbo Isn't a Fan]]>

Collectors of Disney memorabilia are going to go nuts for this limited-edition Mickey Mouse iPod - if there are any left. There are only 500 of these 2GB Mickey-etched Nanos, which went on sale on March 14 for $293, and come with a rodent-embossed leather case and strap. But why didn't they make it an 8GB model? If you've missed the boat, then keep your eyes peeled on eBay. Personally, I'd rather wait for the Hong Kong Phooey version.

<![CDATA[Mickey, Minnie Mouse Hump Your Screen, Eliminate Finger Grease]]> In all reality this product could just be a shipment of little, plush stuffed characters that fell off the truck and were hocked as screen cleaners, but I'm pretty sold on 'em. Mickey and Minnie's stomachs are actually soft, optical grade fabric cloth that can clean your screen by humping the shit out of it. Both of these are available for $10.

Edit: Speaking of Mickey and Minnie Mouse humping, hit the jump to see an awesome video courtesy of our hombres at the Consumerist. It could be NSFW, if you work at a church or something, but it is pretty tame.

<![CDATA[Mickey Mouse iPod Nano]]> And now something for all the Mouseketeers out there, a special edition of the iPod nano completely decked out in Mickey Mouse regalia. In addition to the surprisingly well-done Mickey Mouse engraving on the back of the nano, this limited-edition set comes with stickers out the wazoo, a protective case with a picture of the happy mouse on the front and a card showing your set's ID number.

Since only 999 such sets are being produced, it's pretty important to be sure that you have an authentic set in case you want to extort people out of their money by selling it to the highest bidder. It'll cost you $114 (plus the cost of a nano if you don't have one) when Japans sees its launch on May 22.

<![CDATA[Mickey and Minnie: Together in the Land of USB]]>

Perhaps your parents or relatives are into tech and grew up on all things nostalgic. Dr. Who, Disney cartoons, Howdy Doody and such. Now's the time to score them a vintage-styled USB drive with Mickey and Minnie Mouse themes. These excellent-looking drives look right out of the 1950s and even have fake stiching and accents to give them that retro look. They come in both 256MB and 512MB versions depending on your storage needs and can be used as a keychain, too. No word yet on pricing, but don't expect to shell out billions unless they're limited edition.
