At the time I was blown away by the 3D experience, which also incorporated real life effects, like lasers and fog. Now, the 17-minute film is back.

After watching 3D movies like Up!, I have my doubts about Captain Eo passing the test of time. The movie story was crappy enough back then, and its special effects have long been surpassed. But if you are a long-time or recently-converted Michael Jackson fan—and that's precisely what the Disneyland executives are banking on—you would be able to see the short for yourself on February 2010, when it opens again in Disneyland's Tomorrow Land. <![CDATA[Mouse Phone: Triband GSM Phone In Familiar Shape]]> Stick two spheres onto a larger one, and what do you have? An opportunity to take the Mickey, and create gizmos that "borrow" someone's trademark, that's what... and this Mousephone looks devoid of genuine Disney marks. That said, it's not hugely bigger than the genuine iRiver Mplayer, but crams in a tri-band GSM phone with 1.3-inch screen, MP3/MP4 playback, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and keypad. One ear conceals a 1.3-megapixel camera, and it's even got passable battery life: around 3-4 hours talk, and 150-190 hours standby. The 2-inch phone is available for around $225. Don't show your kids or you know you'll be buying one. [Specialphones via Gizmodiva]

<![CDATA[Friends, Kids, Geeks, A-Data's Mickey Mouse 2GB Drive Lends You His Ear]]> The worst thing about this official A-Data Mickey Mouse USB flash drive is that I can think of about five adults I know who'd love one. The modular design conceals the mini 2GB drive as one of Mickey's ears, the other ear being pierced for pendants or charms. The clear plastic centre even pops out so you can slide in a photo of your loved one. We don't know when these 1.5-inch wide Megabyte Mickeys will be available, or how much they'll cost. But we do know your trinket obsessed, computer-savvy young daughter will want one. [EverythingUSB]
