You really Excel at closing write-ups with clever endings, Mr. Allen. I was wondering, since you have such writing prowess, if you could help me find a Publisher for my new book. Its about how having a positive Outlook can help grant Access to untold millions, and help you find your Groove in life. I have been keeping OneNote here, and one note there, but I will pull it together soon. I just need to focus on my Project, learn some more Accounting, and buy a new Communicator.
Thanks for your help, Mr. Allen. I do appreciate from the bottom of my Microsoft Office.
@dagamer34: Outlook includes calendars and contacts and other things that integrate directly with Exchange servers, making it popular with businesses that are based on Exchange servers.
Snow Leopard will have full Exchange support built into Mail, iCal, and Address Book, meaning that they'll sync with Exchange servers just like Outlook does now.
@Who Shot Who in the What Now?: I should clarify. Microsoft made an excellent Outlook Exchange client for Mac OS 9. And it was FREE! Then came the switch to OS X. For a year or three we had to use our old Outlook client in Classic, then came the so-so Entourage business.
@Barry99705: I guess I'm not sure what would make it better? I send e-mail. I get e-mail. There's no delay.
Not defending the program of Entourage, but what's the difference between a "real" exchange server and a third party? I don't even know what makes mine 'third party' and not 'real'...
Who's idea was it to have white text on a yellow background? My eyes hurt and I still can't tell what the business tools offer over the core applications.
"Me, I still want to muck around with Excel spreadsheets on an iPhone, but oh well."

You're never going to see official Office apps for any platform other than WM or (now) Symbian (LOL, more like sybian am I right?). Microsoft opened up for Nokia because they ship massive volume worldwide.
Outlook on Mac?!! I used to work for a company that would not let anyone have a Mac because of Exchange. Even the graphics people that had to have a Mac for their work had a PC for their main computer and the Mac had to sit off to the side.
Entourage sucks. It decided to make 12,000+ incidences of a calendar event and nearly killed my mbp and iphone. Outlook for Mac should be usable by...never.
Great. To cover up that Apple is building full Exchange support into their OS and MS won't, MS is finally releasing what should have been released a decade ago.

Seriously, is that what passes for humor these days?

And no, I'm no MS fan.

But probably because I've seen so many better clippy jokes... and the art/animation on this one was awful.
Nothing against Conan though, I still like the guy!

Actually, I'd just be curious to know why you prefer it to Mail. I think Mail is a pretty nifty little app myself.
