Unfortunately they just transferred the wonderful people who brought you UAC to this unit. So every time you want to order or do anything you have to tell them several times before they'll let you do so.
Do you want a beer? Are you sure you want a beer? While the UAC staff can't just be turned off like it can in Vista, you can disable them - I'd suggest kicking them in a the groin - once for making you order your beer twice and several times for putting in Vista.
In bars, all across this great nation of ours, Thursday night is Ladies Night. Which means that as the evening progresses, we will get better looking courtesy of 99 cent margaritas and 2-for-1 Jello shots.
What the post doesn't mention is that Microsoft has instead decided to use the space for an Apple retail store so that employees can have a good time AND be around computers.
/what's that you say... that flaming piece of bait... it's nothing...just a flesh wound.
@thatoneguy: "...what would happen if a Microsoft guy brought a Mac into the pub?"
Oh, I'm sure you'd have seen A LOT of Macs in that pub. What with projects and deadlines, even Microsoft guys sometimes need a computer that just works.
It's some stupid assumption that the MS staff would be banned from Mac's or something.
As pointed out MS do make software for OSX, and iPhone too, so MS will have a fair few Mac's lying about, just as Apple make Safari/iTunes/Quicktime for Windows, so they'll have a few copies of Windows lying about.
It'd be like saying Macdonald's staff can't grab something from Gregg's or Burger King.
@Syndication: My comment was meant to be taken in jest as a mild poke in the ribs, not as a first volley towards a flame war. I would think Microsoft people use primarily PCs (well, other than the MS advertising and design/creation teams who apparently often use Macs) in day-to-day operations.

BARTENDER: We don't serve their kind here!
DEVELOPER: What?
BARTENDER: Your Macs. They'll have to wait outside. We don't want them here.
LUKE: Listen, why don't you wait outside. We don't want any trouble, so try not to catch any viruses from those PCs.

That probably explains why there are a bunch of pc's on the Apple campus in cupertino. People need a computer that doesn't work like a toy.
Don't believe me? Go to the apple campus yourself and take a look.
