    Who sets the time on a work microwave? We have several microwaves at work and none of them have the time set on them.

    i've lost burritos to this - there was already a 5 there and i entered 2-2-0 and it turns into 52:20, which as we all know is slightly longer than one wants to cook a pair of frozen burritos.

    Allow my OCD to say there is ONE thing worse than left over time: the lady in accounting who makes popcorn in the microwave, does NOT use the popcorn button and burns the crap out of it everytime, polluting the office with the nasty smell of scorched Reddenbachers.

    my panasonic microwave clears itself after a few minutes of non-use. Why all microwaves aren't like this is beyond me.


    what really gets me is the coffee killers. Every time I get the last mug-full of coffee, I put on a new pot. Terry Tate is to thank for that

    The only time this bothers me is at home, where the microwave is the only clock in the kitchen. Otherwise, who cares?

    Leaving time on a microwave bothers me too, I can't even lie.


    My roommate does it - as well as leaving cabinets open and caps/lids halfway screwed back on all the seasonings in the cabinet.


    *sigh* Drives me bananas.

    This made me laugh because just this morning, I cleared 17 seconds off the microwave in our kitchen area at work. That stuff drives me crazy too. In defense of my OCD, it IS the only clock in the room, and when they leave time on it, no clock is available.

    @Curves: there should also be a clock on your cell phone and, if you're fashionable, a calculator clock on your wrist.

    @Anonymoose: We are not allowed to bring cell phones into the building and I do have a mega-geek calc watch, but I clear the microwave clock for the lazy, non-OCD people who will be late since they will see "17" on the microwave and think its 17 oclock all day. (Ok, so, yeah, I work with some idiots.)

    @Anonymoose: Just get Mentadent. It's a pump kind of dispenser, so you'll never have to bother with that crap ever again. Plus, it's awesome.

    @erichg14: Or, use a binder clip. Girlie is a top-squeezer. I can get angry or I can use a binder clip. The binder clip is easier.
