    @themellowmarsh: I already have all those individual components on my desk anyway (no touchscreen, though)...just saying combining them into one portable unit built like a brick shit house appeals to me. Though I'll never pay that sort of money. Just not flexible enough for me.

    This is probably more practical to most musicians, but from a layman's perspective, the Tenori-On looks so much more awesome.

    @Lukasz Fabis: this is just a controller, a box without sounds, while the tenori-on combines a controller and sounds. Actually, watching this, I too was thinking the tenori-on probably influenced this more than anything else. The tenori-on is also like a hybrid of a musical instrument and a game, and doesn't require learning something like Ableton Live so yeah, from a layman's perspective, no comparison. This looks like it's designed for DJ'ing.
