And to think that, at some point in time, one could forgo trivial matters like what's on TV, find something else to do, and simply wait to watch it later. Our media addiction/anger problems/beef hormones/missing kid labels subtracted from milk cartons/baby vegetables/high-sodium snackfoods/blog addictions/knife lust/remote fetishes/information overload/japanese cartoons are rotting our society in total.
Her boyfriend? Is it not safe to say that he is now to be refered to as her 'ex-boyfriend'? I don't think too many relationships last through a stabbing incident.
There are a few questions to come to mind: 1. What lead up to the stabbing? 2. How is her emotional stability? 3. Did he have sports on again?
In this day in age, with 2 people sharing the remote, isn't it necessary for couples to have more then 1 TV? I'm not condoning this type of behavior but come on, is it necessary for things to get this far? Did she completely loose it or did he have it coming? (totally joking) If this is factual and these two people are in a serious relationship, what did he see is this girl? And if she's typically a balanced individual, then what has he done to drive her to insanity?
@Julia Gorelik: My wife and I only have one TV at home and we are able to work it out. The secret is our DVR. Either of us can record the show while we give in to the other. If I don't feel like watching what she's watching, I'm here posting on Giz. :P
I give all self respecting men fair warning, never under any circumstances ask her or even mention pms, even if you think she has it. It's insulting, nuff said.
@1350ft.in.a.Concorde.blow*ng.up.balloons: Why is it insulting to attribute a woman's bitchiness to something she can't control? Seems to me they should be grateful that we chaulk it up to PMS rather than blaming them.
@Hintzyboy: "They" "We" What are we buddies? FYI, I'm female buddy. Why is it insulting? Because some women don't get PMS. SURPRISE!! It's sexist, weak, ignorant and just plain stupid. So I can't have a bad day without it being PMS? I can't tell someone they are a jack@ss (when they are) with out it being PMS? #1 reason why: How the hell would you really know anyway?
@Bitstuff: FYI, some women also get PMS severely and their bodies can have serious trouble regulating the constant rise and fall of hormones, similar to diabetes and sugar. Remeber boys these are the same hormones that give you those big boobies you like so much.
Ugh. This is the most depressing week at Gizmodo ever. Between this and the 360 kid... jeez. I know someone's going to make a comment about the macworld thing, but seriously, these two stories have really scared me about people. I know it's probably just a coincidence, but are we just all going insane as a human race?
I was thinking she had a knife in the living room, where the TV was. Somehow I didn't make the connection that she could have left and got a knife from the kitchen.
@Nick Davis: Maybe she went to the kitchen to get the knife. Maybe she had a knife on her because she was eating an apple, and some people like to cut the apple as they're eating it. Maybe she just always has a knife her in case she needs to stab people.

There are plenty of reasons to have a knife.
