So, all the disadvantages of mobile internet -- load time, buffering, loss of signal, choppy sound -- combined with the limitations of conventional radio -- limited roaming area, no good for road trips -- and the worst parts of a cellphone -- being raped by your cell provider, overloaded networks, changing contracts, huge levels of interference from surrounding buildings -- makes for a really great product!

Oh, and did we mention? Most cars now use some form of multimedia system which means that the "radio" also controls the HVAC system, the satnav, the engine management system, the adjustable suspension, the tire pressure monitoring, the integrated bluetooth and the safety alerts, all of which are disabled when an aftermarket system is installed... and many cars have as good a stereo as you can buy aftermarket anyhow.
