    Nintendo did this a few years back with the Gameboy card reader. You plugged it into your gameboy, and swiped a couple of cards with modified bar codes on them.

    very cool. wonder how much data they can pack in there per sq. inch. regarding the potential for fading to alter the code - they'll have a checksum in there so you're likely either going to get a successful read or an error. nothing in between.

    Great. Now our computers can get something similar to the "virus" that Data and LaForge came up with to infect "Hugh" with, so they could defeat the Borg.


    I wonder if something similar would work on Terminators.
