Well, it technically "helps" the net book and provides a service, while using it as a form of transport. I would say this is more akin to a Remora than a barnacle. Just saying.
@GitEmSteveDave_NowDoesSurnames: I prefer to use the generic "Symbiotic" because it creates the faint hope that my netbook will secretly become spiderman and defend me from viruses and stuff.
@anexanhume aka Flintheart Glomgold: So I looked up Remora on wikipedia and apparently what it does is called Commensalism which is where it benefits but its host is unaffected (no positive or negative effects). Yes, it's a slow day at work.

@se.blackheart: NO. I'm just coming to terms with my fear after this past weekend. I don't need to destroy my progress.
@Purple Monkey Dishwasher: "Yes, it's a slow day at work."
In a bizarre yet nationally-observed phenomenon, offices around the country are overwhelmingly reporting similarly slow days. Apparently the equivalent to five or more typical full days worth of work was all accomplished this week on Monday, leaving no additional tasks for the rest of the week. No one has yet been able to explain this incredibly odd event.
