Well, the panel assigned to delibrate on the claim has made its decision, and disagreed with Motorola's claims.

The panel said the site was not in "bad faith", designed to direct users to an advertising site, and denied the complaint entirely. It's likely Motorola will appeal, but in the meantime, score one for the little guy.

<![CDATA[Motorola Strongarming Motorazr.com Domain From Owner]]> The issue of domain name ownership is a tricky one, especially when it comes to corporations and their desire to "retcon" themselves through lawyers the domains they failed to register when they released a product. Apple is a company that often does this. Now, Motorola's jumping on board.

Vincent of Slashgear registered and set up motorazr.com as a Motorola RAZR community site back in July of '04, a full 11 months before Motorola filed the trademark for "motorazr". Everything was fine until August of '06, when Moto's lawyers decided they wanted the domain, and even offered a piddling amount of $1,500 to get him to go away. When that didn't work, their lawyer was "rude and unprofessional", and now Motorola's going through arbitration with the World Intellectual Property Organization to get the domain.

<![CDATA[T-Mobile Tattoos MOTORAZR V3s]]> Just launched from T-Mobile, these tattooed MOTORAZRs let everyone know that even though they've been around the block a few times, they can still break a pool cue over someone's head with the best of them. Designed by Ami James, the tattoo artist on Miami Ink, the dark grey "Dragon" and the pink "Cherry Blossom" still have the old RAZR V3's VGA camera, but work with T-Mobile's myFaves, which you can read more about here.

T-Mobile still doesn't have the MOTOKRZR, so if you want a RAZR, you're pretty much stuck with these. No word on whether these tattoos can be removed once they get married and have kids.
