What do you mean lucky he didn't lose his head? He is obviously extremely hurt from the looks of the video and im glad everyone on here could care less about it.

@efenili: Also, don't most photographers wear camera straps around their necks? So if the camera were hit, wouldn't it have caught on the guy's head?

@efenili: A guy who was the son of a person who lives in my neighborhood got really drunk one night, and while being driven home, informed the driver from the backseat that the bar they just passed was someplace he wanted to go. When the driver didn't stop, this young man(ex-armed forces and 20-30yo) decided to open the door at speed and walk the bar. When he hit the pavement, he suffered major head injuries and died. They were broken up over it and put an elaborate obit in the paper saying what a great guy he was. When I heard that, I said "If I ever die doing something like that, please put "He died like an idiot" on my headstone, and don't feel sorry, b/c I did something dumb." The Father of the guy found out I said that, and let's just say we haven't talked since then. I still feel exactly like I said I did.

Rally racing crowds are always dangerously close to the car. Watch any footage of a WRX, Lancer or 206 or whatever else careening down a dirt track and see how few feet are between the swinging rear ends of the racers and the crowd behind feeble dividers (if there happen to be any). I don't suppose it would make much of a difference on snow or dirt, since the cars are still traveling at high speed down tight winding roads with no paved surface.

The entire class was banned because so many spectators were being killed.
