    You know, I lived in Alaska for 17 years, and never had electrically heated clothing. I'm pretty sure anybody I knew had any either. Sounds like a bad idea really. Would cause people to not dress properly, "I have heated clothes! I don't need layers!", then the battery dies.

    If your phone needs recharging when you're freezing to death, I imagine that USB connection would come in pretty handy, should you decide you need to call for help, or want to use your iFlashlight app to signal a search party.

    @SEDAGIVE?!: but what if your gadget runs out of juice while you're away? If you haven't been using the heating option of the jacket, you've got power for a few more seconds for your phone/mp3 player/laser pointer/heated mug/coffee pot/flashlight all-in-one device.
