Voice control would be awesome as long as it's easy to take the remote off the wheel so it doesn't advertise a stowed GPS in your dashboard when parked, and easy to replace, so you don't have to feel anxious about loosing it.

Also, it would be awesome if you could verbally prompt it in real time rather than communicate with it solely by driving in opposition to its directions and having it scold you "recalculating... recalculating..." It's like, you know it's directing you wrong, you know you're going to reject its suggestions, it would be better just to tell it your preferences ("avoid Hamster Avenue, go up Maple") than to ignore it and wait for it to catch up.

But yea, Nuvi's are awesome. It's like getting opposable thumbs and wondering how you got along without them. One thing though is that their 5000 different models are kind of confusing, and they should make an upgrade path - beyond a feature here, a feature there - clearer to customers.
