The desk can accommodate dual 19" monitors or one cinema widescreen display up to a 36" case width. Screen angles can be adjusted to your liking, there are cable ports on both sides, and there is an option of having built-in power strips and / or cable connector boxes. On the negative side, the flipIT looks like a modification of some cheap desk unit you would buy in Target. No word on pricing. [Smartdesks via Bornrich]

<![CDATA[Multi-Screwdriver Looks Painful if Used Improperly]]> Screwdrivers with multiple changeable heads are nothing new, but this Multi Screwdriver tops all those by expanding out like an octopus. This makes it both easy to see which tip you want and easy to poke your eye out eight different ways.

And to make sure you can see what you're doing, there's an added light on the end as well, which is probably the only reason why you'd buy this over regular multi-headed screwdrivers. Unless you just really love extending out the bits and shouting "I'm Doctor Octopus!!" in a really high-pitched voice.

<![CDATA[We Were Wrong: CineMassive MasterPlex 21T Monitor Array is Real]]> Turned off by a cheap rendering, or what looked like a cheap rendering, I called the CineMassive MasterPlex monitor array a fake. It isn't.

Take a looksie at the pictures to confirm. I get the feeling that the system is made to order, and they had to build the system first to clear their names, but here it is: A 21-inch monitor flanked by no less than five 17-inchers. This is Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, for Pixel addicts. CineMassive, I still don't know about that $3300 price tag, but I'm sorry I ever doubted you and your great wall of desktop.

<![CDATA[Sensory Overload: CineMassive MasterPlex 21T]]> Looking to score some hefty multi-screen real estate? The MasterPlex 21T LCD array is an all Samsung affair, built on a 21-inch panel, flanked top and sides by five 17-inch panels. By our calculations, that's 8,473,600 pixels, which CineMassive guarantees to be dead-pixel free. Looks amazing, but the $3,299 setup smells fishy.

The setup's top center monitor clearly is smaller than the rest of the supposedly identical peripheral screens. If anything, from this perspective, it should be bigger than the other wings, unless its recessed, which seems like a bad idea. And the running cost for those monitors alone is in the $2000-$2500 dollar range, according to froogle. Does that mean the stand, which looks like the one from the 21-inch alone, is worth 800? Please, I've seen houses of playing cards that looked more sturdy. Also, the company's website makes no clear statement about what video card and slots you'll need to drive this many pixels.

Even if this is just a preview photoshop, well, I have to say, I'd never buy this much screen from a company that couldn't even get their images of future products sorted on their website.

CineMassive: If you want to clear the air, drop us a line. Otherwise, readers be warned to wait for a reputable review.

UPDATE: It's real!

<![CDATA[Sizemodo: LG BH100 Super Multi Blue Actually Smaller Than Standalones]]> How is this possible? How does LG's Blu-ray/HD DVD player end up being smaller than the cheapest HD DVD and Blu-ray player? Apparently by skimping on the HD features, though we don't imagine that'd add any noticible size to the device.

So if you buy a LG BH100 instead of the Toshiba HD-A1 and the Samsung BD-P1000, you save shelf space at the expense of cash ($1200 vs. $600 + $400).

More after the jump.
