    Clarinet. I played for 8 years and stunk at it every step of the way. Thinking it would get the awful spit smell out of it, I boiled it. Well it got the smell out and it melted into black liquid goo. It was not the wooden kind, obviously. Mom was not pleased.

    My parents always wanted to instill a musical sense in me and I loved instruments. That is why I can play all of these:


    Started on Piano

    Switched to Cello

    Learned the Bass

    Perfected the Viola and Violin


    At this point I decided horn instruments were fun, so...


    Learned the Saxaphone

    Spent a week adjusting to the differences of the clarinet

    Got good at the oboe

    Learned Trumpet

    Finally learned how to play guitar

    Learned to use turntables in less then an hour (at this point all instruments became simple to learn)


    Haven't played an instrument in 3 years now. Damnit Giz, now I miss it.

    I play viola in a community orchestra, and I am a major geek. I also know my way around a piano and used to sing in choirs in HS and college.

    I can also play some basic chords on the guitar and harmonica. I'm not that great at the guitar or harmonica, but I can play them with mediocre skill at the same time.

    @snubz: The viola is amazing if you know how to play it and what songs are fun. Once you get into 4th position on the fingerboard, it gets real fun! HEHEHE
