SJ may have bailed on Macworld when it became obvious that there was no real ZOMG to announce. In this case, the health thing might have been a fig leaf for no big announcement. Hauling out SJ to announce a new keyboard shortcut for "Save As" in iPhoto, or whatever it is that they announced, would have drawn more attention to the non-event.

Anyway, sort of looking forward to CES as I'm interested in a couple of gadget purchases this year as my personal way of resisting the financiapocolypse.

Crap, CES coverage? WHY?!?! I come to this site for gadget and electronic coverage, not your rabid CES-fanboyism! Give me what this site is about; Gadgets and electronics!!! Is there anyway to avoid CES coverage? I tried using your "special" RSS feed, but it's no good b/c two stories were mis-tagged and I had to look at their abstract before NOT clicking on it. WTF?

    /sarcasm

It's a long way to Cupertino,

It's a long way to go.

It's a long way to Cupertino

To the sweetest Mac I know!

    Goodbye removable battery,

    Farewell Steven Jobs!

It's a long, long way to Cupertino,

But my heart's right (I need a rhyme for Jobs).

@OMG! Ponies!: At the risk of being crucified by fanboys, I'm going to suggest, "snobs". Although, "knobs" would likely be just as effective.

Tony Bennet? Bingo? 30 minutes on how iMovie steadies your shaky hand video? Is this Macworld or AARP's annual meeting?

Schiller can't think of a store as beautiful as an Apple store?

Really? I can. Tiffany & Co. It's on Fifth Avenue two blocks south of an Apple Store.
