    Stovetop espresso makers are much more convenient, and make a decent brew. I use one when I'm camping, but rely on my Ariete at home.

    @iatacs19: I'm not a 100% sure what kind of gas cartridges they are. I'm assuming its just the CO2 ones that you use in a pellet gun. Those weren't too expensive IIRC. Its been a long time since I've used them though.


    I'm not sure if its those though since I'd think the CO2 would leave a taste behind. It might be a different much more expensive gas cartridge.

    @tande04: I was referring to Nitrous Oxide, b/c they sell them for food use already.


    If they are CO2, they will have to be specialty cartridges, as most CO2 powerlets have oil inside to help lubricate the air system of whatever you put them into.

    Human bacon? Reminds me of my recipe for the Long Pig Bacon Cheeseburger:


    * Ground human thigh (ground chuck substitute)

    * Abdominal muscle from the external and internal obliques (bacon substitute)

    * Cheddar cheese made from human breast milk


    Cook as normal on a seasoned cast iron skillet and then flee the jurisdiction as soon as practicable.

    Pneumatic pressure hunh? So what makes the pressure. I'm guessing either batteries or you squeeze the handle. If it is the latter that's pretty cool. It would be great for making coffee in hotels while traveling.
