For example, if you currently want to pick up the unlocked N95 Stateside, you will have to pay more than $700 straight up from Nokia, but rumor has it that T-Mobile may be interested in this phone, along with the N90. The positive is that if T-Mobile does pick up either phone, you could expect that massive price tag to be significantly chopped in favor of a ball-binding two-year contract. This little slip of information comes from mobilecomms-technology, an industry journal site, which actually mislabeled the pictures of the phones, but regardless it showed the N95—I'm crossing my fingers.

<![CDATA[Nokia N90 Video Goodness?]]> Sick of hearing about the Nokia N90 yet? Well, we aren t—we love this thing. The N90 features Zeiss Optics with its camera that is supposedly way better than the average bear. Some European bloggers gave these Zeiss Optics a test run by recording a Jamaican reggae band in Portugal, then uploaded the video for all to see. This could be a biased video because the lighting is less than mediocre, regardless it is pretty decent quality for a small camera phone.

<![CDATA[Nokia N90 Available?]]> Nokia has announced that their highly anticipated N90 is available through Ritz Camera. Ritz is selling the phone for 400 bones with an activation plan through T-Mobile, or a straight up $700 without any kind of plan. Nokia has been giving us Gizmodo blue balls with this phone for around seven months and we are happy to see that it is FINALLY coming around to getting released.

<![CDATA[Nokia's See New Competition]]> N90_pro-1.jpgJust hung out with Nokia last night at their N90 event where they were flogging their mobile phone-camming contest and their work with Philip-Lorca DiCorcia, one of them fancy photogs, and Carl Zeiss for their optics in the N90. Generally, the N90 was a hot little number but I think their See New competition is something to take a gander at.

The competition invites anyone with a 1-megapixel or higher cameraphone to submit photos. The grand prize winner get a day with DiCorcia and regional winners get two tickets to any destination with—get this—"access to luxurious airport lounges." That's PR-speak for "we'll stick your ass on a business flight to Nepal."

Because most mobogging, up to this point, has consisted grainy shots of people's junk, it's nice to see some art going into this thing.
