    Giz championed the screenwriters' plight to be paid for internet distribution of their work.


    Giz should take a similar position for musicians striving to be paid for the use of their music on the net... or anywhere for that matter.


    Not sure where it'd go, but it'd be a principled position to take.


    Not that Mr. Rickroll would be my first choice for posterboy....

    Really? Not joking? How did I miss that? I just did a Gizmodo search for "screenwriter" and "screenplay", nothing relevant came up. If possible, a link, please!

    @bosskev: Seriously, and good on Giz too!


    Frucci seemed particularly riled, and wrote one post soliciting striking screenwriters to guest write for Giz (not that any took him up on the offer, but still).

    Wait wait wait. So its YOUTUBE's decision as to what they pay for royalties? Isn't there some sort of, oh I don't know, contract or law that helps to determine what this guy is supposed to get paid?
