I'd like to plug one of these up to an old styled phonograph-like setup, instead of plugging it into a PC.
Probably would get a much more 'organic' and ethereal sound, instead of the digitally processed sound of running it through modern equipment like the guy is doing in the video.
I can imagine under those conditions, it probably would sound spooky - especially hearing the 'voices' in the white noise.
Set that up in a dark room with good acoustics (like that one bathroom stall we have at work that acts like a resonance chamber at the right frequencies), and I bet you could scare the shit out of any unsuspecting passersby.
It's already the 26th, so I may not get to do that this All Hallows' Eve . . . but next year, I'm keeping this little idea on tap and going to work on ways of perfecting it for maximum creepiness for the big day next year. I shall do the Great Pumpkin proud. #spiritradio
You're listening to KTLU, your home for madness and music. Coming up, we have Azathoth and the Deep Ones with their newest single, "Eldritch".
And just to remind you, if you're hearing this broadcast, you're probably insane. So don't touch that dial. Because if you do, we'll eat your lungs. #spiritradio
So the resulting sound of this device plugged into the sound-in port on his computer freaked out Tesla? I wonder what OS Tesla used. I think he's a Apple person. #spiritradio
Their biggest album "Five Man Acoustical Jam" is a decent live, acoustic album, but it doesn't make up for the fact that they were an unremarkable hair band from the dying days of hard rock.
@Span_Wolf: He was rich at one time, then lost it all trying to invent something that would have made people's lives better, because nobody wanted to finance a project that produced unmeterable (free to all) energy transmission.

Tesla failed... even an artist has made a light bulb farm with wireless electricity (someone post the link to the article?)

In 1943 The United States Supreme Court ruled Tesla as the primary inventor of radio in a patent case dispute brought before them.
So Marconi was not the inventor of radio. It has been a mistake that has been perpetuated over the decades. Marconi was a thief and a liar.
I'd love to go to a museum built at Wardenclyffe in Tesla's honor!
