    I don't see how this would really improve anything. modern golf clubs all already have the maximum COR of .830


    That's why over the last 5 years or so, the only "improvements" you really see deal with club shape (to reduce MOI for instance), movable weights (to aid in shaping shots,) or face thinnness to promote forgiveness. Again - how would this add distance?
