@ZLevee: Nokia's site does indeed say GPS and I don't understand why that is since every other source I've read including the one below says the E63 does not have GPS.
I have an E62, 2 years old and beat to hell... and I love this thing. It's tough, the battery life is still beastly, and other than a bit of processing slowdown it hasn't given me any trouble. Symbian really isn't the best... but I'll put up with it for the many benefits.
If the E63 is basically just an update but the same strengths, I'm in.
I actually like the look of the phone, and appreciate the fact that Nokia seems to be leading the charge when it comes to breaking up the oligarchical system of cell phone makers and carriers in the US. It's funny to see Nokia, which has some ridiculously large share of the worldwide cellphone market (75% or something) acting like an outsider.
@bobojuice: It has 3G... although not mentioned in the article explicitly, the HSDPA part is what people refer to as 3.5G.. furthermore, if you know the WCDMA frequency in US it is 850/1900MHz.
Or probably I'm mistaken something here? like T-Mobile 3G wont work on this phone?
Is there really a GPS in E63? in my country, the E63 doesn't have GPS.. but the big brother (E71) does have it. And iirc it does have 3G, but not HSDPA.
@Segador: It is a GSM/WCDMA phone, it will work on any US GSM network. If there are only 2 GSM networks in the US then yes, it will only work with 2 carriers.
unkpku has a really long fucking screenname because i saw some other people do it was starred

He spends so much time on the phone, neglecting the little lady. Eventually she tells him to sleep on the couch and his phone isn't the only thing that's blue...
Looks almost identical to my E71, if it works the same it's really good value. The first Nokia phone I've been really happy with, even as the Symbian can be real pain in the ass at times, and slightly buggy as well. Hope they didn't change materials, E71 has really nice metal enclosure, even as it makes the phone bit heavy.

Before randomly speculating, you might try looking up the specs.

The E71 is HSDPA(3.5G) 850/1900MHz.
The E63 is UMTS(3G) 850/1900MHz.
@bobojuice:
Sorry, no TMO 3G with this one.

It doesn't matter how many colors it comes in, if I'm looking for functionality and form in a business device, I'm going with a Blackberry.
