@iAirmanshirk: Still not user friendly? If you ask me Nokias have been user firendly enough for over a decade. Shure not as user firendly as the iPhone, but the iPhone doesn't really have anything to truly prove it's worth to even exist other it's user friendlyness.
As a somewhat normal mac user fanboys sometimes shure piss me off...
uhmmmm, i used one of these nokias a few months ago and couldnt even figure out how to play music, they're not even close to user friendly, thats why their market share is falling im sure
@iAirmanshirk:"uhmmmm, i used one of these nokias a few months ago and couldnt even figure out how to play music"
I've seen you post repeatedly about having difficulty navigating through interfaces and menus on other phones as well. Did it ever occur to you that the one common element between all of those posts is you and not the various phones?
oh come off it, why do you constantly defend nokia when you know they could try harder? This has nothing to do with apple, though i do praise them for being the one to step up and finally making a phone that is user friendly, im sick of these nokia phones not being easy to use, its a fact and not an opinion. Just because youve used them for years doesnt mean that others have. so go iphone for being user friendly.
@iAirmanshirk: I do not constantly defend Nokia. And even if I have had positive things to say about them in the past it's nowhere near the level of fanaticism you display for the iphone. So tell me, what did you use for a cell phone before Apple came along? Are you telling me that any of those phones you used before were too difficult for you to use? What do you have for a phone now because if I recall correctly I think I've seen you post that you don't even have an iphone yet but are planning on buying one. I've used the iphone and IMO it's certainly the best iPod Apple ever produced. As for the phone part, it sucked. First and foremost I need a phone that does just that, be a PHONE.
Yes playing music, video and surfing the internet is cool but if I can't make a phone call without loosing reception or missing half the conversation then what's the point? That's not hating on the iphone either. Everyone I know who has one loves it but they all say the same thing. The phone is the weakest part of it. I don't even knock the iphone on it's shortcomings (cut & paste) or other issues like Safari crashing. Those are all things that can (and most likely will) be addressed and resolved by Apple at some point. No product is perfect and I understand that. I've had 6 cell phones over the years. Three of those were Nokia. Why, you ask? Because they make the best phones, IMO hands down. Is every phone they make awesome? Far from it. I just got my hands on the N96 the other day and it was a complete let down. It felt cheap and crappy in my hand. The keypad was spongy and felt like the same rubbery membrane they use on the really cheap phones. Not what I would expect on a phone with that price tag. So you see, I can support Nokia and still not like all of their products, whereas you just keep up with your tired mantra, "If it's not an iphone it must be junk..."
Stop jumping into posts just to knock other phones especially if you have no basis for you comments. Try using one of those phones for a while first, and I'm not talking about going to the store and pressing the buttons for 10 seconds, then putting the phone down.
the only phone i used was the LG V, which was replaced by the famous envy. Stop being such a nokia fanboy, they suck, just admit it, time to be a man and admit they suck
@iAirmanshirk: Nice retort. That was the best you could do? Hey you know what, I like coffee too. Does that make me a coffee fanboy? Or wait, I like breathing as well. I must be an oxygen fanboy...
So the only phone you actually used was the LG V. All your talk about how these other phones are crap has been just talk, not based on actual usage for any period of time longer than 1 minute of fumbling with a display model in a retail store. And you still didn't answer the question of whether or not you own and iphone...
Nokia hold 39 market share because they were first to the cell phone scene and give phones away with a contract. no real phone user uses nokia anymore, its all about apple, and android.
@iAirmanshirk: Ok, if you say so. It's clear you are the absolute authority when it comes to cell phones. Thanks for correcting setting us all on the right track.
