With a lighter and a flashlight on either side, these $10 nunchucks should do the trick. [Product Page via Nerd Approved]

<![CDATA[Wii Drum High Turns Your Controllers Into a Shaky PC Drum Set]]> Wii Music set up a solid control scheme for drumming with the console's various attachments, which hacker He Zhao has basically replicated. Except this time it's free, customizable and on your PC.

Just like in its Wii progenitor, this program follows a simple pattern: feet control bass drums, while the swinging hands take care of each other components, depending on which button is depressed during movement. For such a simple hack it's kind of impressive how accurately the sounds are matched to movements, and the possibility of endless drum sample customization means that with some refining, this could actually serve as a passable—if minimal—electronic drum kit. <![CDATA[Nyko Wireless Wii Nunchuck Adapter Reviewed (Verdict: It Works)]]> It is 2008 folks. Controllers with wires are just plain unacceptable. If you are a Wii owner, that cord connecting the Wiimote and the nunchuck can be infuriating. As you have probably heard, Nyko has come up with a wireless adapter for existing nunchucks that promises to eliminate the problem—but the question is how well does it work?

Both IGN and Wii Fanboy have taken a look at the device and agree that it does its job well and the added bulk of the cord-free adapter doesn't really take away from the performance. So if you have a few controllers you would like to convert to wireless, the Cord Free is available now for $20. Nyko is also expected to release a standalone version this May. [IGN and Wii Fanboy]

<![CDATA[i-Sobot Gets Wiimote and Nunchuck Controls]]> The i-Sobot may be the smallest humanoid robot that you can control, but actually controlling it requires you to enter in more difficult keypress combos than it takes to do a Babaility in Mortal Kombat. However, if you load up the i-Sobot with the Robodance 4 software, you can hook up a Wiimote and Nunchucks to control the robot. It's fairly easy to program—just pick an action from a giant list and then perform a gesture to map to it. You can even assign the Wiimote buttons to certain actions as well, which helps you do some more complex actions. The formal version won't be out until February, but if you want to help beta test you can get one in about a week. [Robots Rule]

<![CDATA[Ninja Shuriken Clock with Nunchuck Hands]]> Are you a bad enough dude to own this clock? Not everyone is capable of withstanding the eight-pointed shuriken frame, the Yin/Yang face, the nunchuck hands, the chopstick second hand, and the ninja figure that's incessantly kicking its invisible enemies in the face before winding up and kicking some more.

Just pony up an Andrew Jackson (who's not very awesome) and you'll get one of these. We bet if if there were Native American ninjas back then, they would have taken out Jackson with a well timed kick to the groin. *Guitar RIIIFF*

<![CDATA[Rumor Rater: Wireless Wii Nunchucks]]> A reader sends this tip culled from the pages of our favorite magazine when we were 10, Nintendo Power. He notes, as seen on the right, that Andy Alamano, the producer of Alien Invasion, is holding a Wiimote and Nunchucks unattached. Does this mean there's going to be wireless (Bluetooth?) Nunchucks for the Wii soon? We doubt it.

We grade this rumor a 20%, since the photo was most likely taken with the Nunchuk cord hidden behind the hand, out of view for aesthetics' sake. Sure, wireless Nunchucks sound cool, but they'd be another thing to charge and would require a wrist strap as well so people won't fling them like they will the Wiimotes.

Thanks for the tip Marc, but we think this one's a bit unlikely. Check out the large version after the jump to see for yourself.
