    Nah... this is all too simple- everyone keeps talking about warp speed, etc- they keep forgetting about inertia.


    A jump to light-speed without dampening same will result in a people flavored smear on the bulkhead.

    You always do this; you always decide to check the star charts over and over again while you go the wrong way, now we're millions of parsecs off course. Couldn't we have just ASKED that nice Centaurian freighter where Alpha Prime is?


    I'm sorry, Dave, but I have difficulty believing that I could have possibly made a navigational error. My star charts are 100% accurate.

    @CoHPhasor: Grrr.... Somewhere in my history on here or maybe it was msn about a week ago i asked everyone.. What do you think would happen if you went into hyperdrive and a comet gets in the way.. At those speeds can you even turn?
